“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” -Jesus (Matthew 19:14)

Volunteers from @OakwoodUniversity provided quality children’s activities for several communities in Peten, Guatemala. By singing, laughing, playing, and praying, the children were able to see Jesus reflected in these young people. Are you interested in bringing your group for a mission trip in Guatemala?

Volunteers from Oakwood University

Thankful to have volunteers from @OakwoodUniversity assist with our mobile clinics to serve several of the remote communities in Guatemala. OU Graduates and current PreMed students spent part of their summer investing in the lives of native Mayan speaking people. With the help of Qʼeqchiʼ and Spanish translators the students were able to provide support to Dr. Lopez and the Manos Ayudadoras team to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Does your organization want to sponsor Manos Ayudadoras or bring your team to a medical mission trip in Guatemala?

Got Teeth? (Dental Health Feature)

Got teeth? Dental health is an important part of your overall health. It’s with your mouth that you speak words, taste yummy food, sing your favorite song, and shout for joy. This is a special part of the work Manos Ayudadoras is doing in Guatemala. Through mobile dental clinics and services at our main campus in Machaquila, Peten, the people of Guatemala can look forward to having their best smile yet. Every week the clinic serves local residents and the most vulnerable by providing comprehensive and affordable healthcare. Help sponsor our clinic today. For as little as $10 (2 Starbucks coffees) you can help sponsor a patient.

Living Water: Wells Inaugurated in Mayan Communities

“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” -Jesus (John 4:13)

This month we inaugurated two wells in native Mayan speaking communities in Peten, Guatemala. Clean water is essential to the health of communities. This is one of the many ways that Sanatorio Manos Ayudadoras (God’s Helping Hands) is helping the people of Guatemala be holistically healthy. Every week the clinic serves local residents and the most vulnerable by providing comprehensive and affordable healthcare. Help sponsor our clinic today.
