ACTIVITIES DURING 2021.
We thank God for this new year, a year with many challenges but full of blessings and above all God's loving care for his children who need it most.
It has been 20 years that Gods Hesping Hands has been in Guatemala providing services to the people who need it the most and this year we were very blessed to have the visit of some friends from Florida and also from Washington. Thanks to their generosity we were able to carry out the following activity.
*Delivery of about 1,000 food rations to needy families.
*Delivery of food and cleaning supplies to EL BUEN SAMARITANO nursing home.
*Delivery of food and cleaning supplies to Horfanatorio AHICAM.
*DELIVERY OF FOOD TO WOMEN IN THE LITERACY PROGRAM.
Also we can not overlook the noble work that the Ejecito de Guatemala and the National Police of Guatemala, provided to develop this activity, as there were communities that had to walk for about 2 hours to get there, immensely grateful because God's timing is perfect and many families of Peten, were blessed with this visit of our friends.
Delivery of Shoes and Clothes
In the month of November and December 2020, a shoe drive was held in Pasco Washington, with the help of some friends, so we managed to collect 230 pairs of shoes and some pieces of clothing for children that were sent to Guatemala in the month of April 2021, to share with the children of 2 needy communities, the Barillal and Los Encuentros, we are very grateful to all who collaborated with this beautiful activity, we can not name them all because we would miss some names, but God knows every cheerful giver who participated in this activity.
